Price tag printing software

When stores change prices, launch new items, or reprint shelf labels, they often need many product price tags from item data. With price tag printing software (also retail price tag printing or simply price tag printing), lock a template in LuckDesign, drive name, price, and barcode from product data or a scan, then print in batch or one-by-one.

Data can come from Excel lists or scan-to-print. Batch jobs: Batch label printing; Excel path: Excel label printing software; one scan → one tag: Scan to print labels.

Store scenarios

  • Price changes and promos: after multi-SKU updates, select rows and reprint shelf tags in one job.
  • New items and replenishment: print tags from a product list instead of handwriting prices.
  • On-floor scan reprints: scan a barcode when a shelf tag is missing—see Scan to print labels.
  • Bakery, apparel, and similar retail: fields differ by category; templates still live in LuckDesign (see bakery and apparel solution pages where relevant).

Price tag capabilities

  • One template: size, price block, and barcode placement stay fixed; swap data without re-layout.
  • Variable-driven: name, size, price, and barcode come from product tables or scan results.
  • Batch mail-merge: select many items and print many tags—see Batch label printing.
  • Excel as a data source: local sheets—see Excel label printing software.

Boundary vs POS / cashier systems

Luck price tag printing software focuses on template design and printing from product fields. It is not a cash register, not a POS, and not a replacement for checkout or inventory ledgers. Authoritative prices still come from your ERP, product master, or POS back office; this page only explains how to map those fields onto a price-tag template and print.
