Luck label software is LuckDesign plus LuckNext—not three peer products, and not “LuckNext equals the whole company.” Two lines: LuckDesign owns label and barcode templates and local print; LuckNext owns unified print, HTTP API, and multi-node print integration.
Lay out templates and print locally with LuckDesign. If a label printer is already on this PC and paper should come from this PC, install LuckDesign for that OS. The browser can design and preview; it does not replace the local-driver step.
How far LuckDesign goes
Text, graphics, 1D/2D codes, variables, and counters live in LuckDesign. Editions step Standard → Professional → Enterprise: Standard is for individuals and small teams and covers everyday design and print; forms, Excel binding, permissions, and the LuckDesign SDK sit in upgrades. Enterprise can embed the designer in a business UI—that is the LuckDesign SDK, not “every integration is LuckNext.”
OS coverage: Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, plus UnionTech UOS, Kylin, and similar localized desktops. Ask for an offline package when you need fully offline; the default is online-capable.
When you actually need LuckNext
Look at LuckNext when a business system submits print jobs over HTTP API, or you need one policy across nodes. It can private-deploy on Windows Server, Linux, and localized-OS servers, including a fully internal network.
Business data can feed templates from Excel, LuckData, or a staging table. Chanjet T+ projects often use LuckDesign plus LuckData or a staging table. HTTP API and submitting print jobs are mainly LuckNext.
How to choose—you do not have to buy everything
- Prove templates and stable printer output locally: start with LuckDesign; Standard is enough to try everyday design and print.
- Need spreadsheet merge, permissions, or approval: upgrade LuckDesign by edition.
- Multi-site, many printers, systems pushing print jobs: add LuckNext.
