How we survey and pilot the line
On high-mix lines, consultants shadow a changeover: whether old folders remain, when the new SOP hits the screen, and when WIP labels are opened.
First wave gates only 2–3 high-risk steps; others stay browse-confirm to protect pilot takt.

From survey to acceptance
- Survey: product families, SOP library, screens, station label samples.
- Gate: critical-step list and “no confirm, no print.”
- Load: illustrated steps on screen by WO/product.
- Templates: approve station labels in LuckDesign; bind variables.
- Pilot: include one full changeover day.
- Cutover: roll station by station; retire paper copies.
- Accept: skip blocks, version recall, print history.
